    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Make sure the automatic volume group activation flag "&lt;STRONG&gt;AUTO_VG_ACTIVATE&lt;/STRONG&gt;" is enabled in &lt;STRONG&gt;/etc/lvmrc&lt;/STRONG&gt; file.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Example:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# cat /etc/lvmrc&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.......&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AUTO_VG_ACTIVATE=1 &amp;nbsp;--&amp;gt; auto vg activation is enabled here.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Make sure there is no&amp;nbsp;customized volume group activation defined in /etc/lvmrc file.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Example:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;# cat /etc/lvmrc&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;......&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;custom_vg_activation()&lt;BR /&gt;{&lt;BR /&gt;# e.g. /sbin/vgchange -a y -s&lt;BR /&gt;# parallel_vg_sync "/dev/vg00 /dev/vg01"&lt;BR /&gt;# parallel_vg_sync "/dev/vg02 /dev/vg03"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;return 0&lt;BR /&gt;}&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Check the&lt;STRONG&gt; /etc/rc.log&lt;/STRONG&gt; for any lvm errors&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;lately im having an issue with an already created Volume Group on my system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The fact is, that i need to re-activate the VG after every system restart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I already checked the /etc/fstab and it already contains an entry for the specified VG and its corresponding lvols.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestion plz?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rgds&lt;/P&gt;</description>
