    <description>&lt;P&gt;It is not clear how you are determining that the LUNS are "Used".&amp;nbsp; When you&amp;nbsp; vgexport a volume gbroup, the original LVM information is still on the LUNs. You must use pvremove to clear the LVM information on the LUNs. That removes the LVM code so that a pvcreate will succeed without using the -f (force) option.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good day,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; From our XP12000, I added many luns previously "used"&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;on another server recently retired, &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;and now I am not able to make them "unused'&amp;nbsp; for my new server.&amp;nbsp; In the "HP-UX Disks and File Sustems Tool" I see disks unused and many lableled "LVM" that I wan to change to "unused".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The "Mark disk as Used' doesn't work. Is there a line command to make&amp;nbsp;my new&amp;nbsp;lun selection "unused".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jacques&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
