      <description>Hi All!!!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I have an HP9000 K360 server with 11.00 loaded on it . I had to replace the root disk due to system crash . after replacing the disk i have restored the root backup from tape . Now if I am trying to mount a remote file system through NFS it is comming out with following error .&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symber:__libnsl_is_variable_set (code) from /sbin/fs/nfs/mount&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mount:mount: terminated abnormally&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if anybody has come accross the same problem pls help me ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks In Advance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shajith</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Are you able to mount the remote filesystem from another system?  This is just to make sure the NFS server end  is OK.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    Are the NFS client daemons running on your system?  Do /sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop&lt;BR /&gt;and /sbin/init.d/nfs.client start .  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  How did you restore your root disk? Was it from Ignite ?  or did you install O/S and restore the other files from backup tape?&lt;BR /&gt;Dont you have a mirror disk for root? (it is helpful to have one).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTh&lt;BR /&gt;raj&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
