Nic Multipathing/failover

Guys
Which is the best product for ensuring failover on NIC cards.
I.E primary fails and Secondary takes over automatically, will APA handle this or is there some other product better suited.

i thought that APA was the way to go but have not had to deal with APA for about 18 months and wanted to check that it is still best product to use.
