Thanks guys. I have a UPS that reports its internal temperature, but I was hoping to get a more direct measure of the temperature of the K200.

We run HP-UX 10.01 on a K200 box. Is there a system command that can be used to get the internal temperature of the machine? I believe the system comes with an automatic shutdown if the temperature exceeds some maximum temperature.

Jim,
There is no command to read the internal temperature sensor (a LM35 located on the power monitor) If the temperature reached the defined threshold triggers the power monitor a certain interrupt. That happens for all temperature thresholds.
