      <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may not have 'telnet' enabled.  Examine your '/etc/inetd.conf' file.  You need a line like:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;telnet       stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/telnetd   telnetd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Either uncomment the line or add it and do:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# inetd -c&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...</description>
