      <description>Has anyone seen this error. I am working on HP-UX 11.11 rp4440.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I performed a shutdown and when trying to come up I started receiving this message,&lt;BR /&gt;"NFS server (pid930@/net) not responding".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How I can I fix this and get my system back up?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This message is coming from AutoFS/automount.  AutoFS starts at boot time by default.  However, if you do not use AutoFS you can disable it by setting the AUTOFS flag to 0 in the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As for why it's hanging - no idea.  You'd have to collect data to figure that out.  I'd be happy to suggest ways to determine why it's hanging, but only if you really need to use AutoFS.  If you have no need for it and just want to turn it off then do that.  If you need to use AutoFS then we can troubleshoot why it's hanging.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dave</description>

      <description>Dave!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I reset my NUM_NFSD and started &lt;BR /&gt;the NFS Daemon /usr/sbin/nfsd -a&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and rebooted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for direction.</description>
