Hi ,

When I try to execute the Unix shell script which intern call some Oracle database procedure to retrive the data I am getting the below error. Can anyone help me in this regard?

Error: - [SMS Geneva][ODBC Server]Function sequence error.. select DESC_TXT p1 from PL_GIAN2.PL_DSC_V where DESC_CD = 'CD' AND LANG_CD = '99' and PROD_NBR=:1 and EFF_DT=:2 Problem executing query for PL_SEL_VEnd with errors.

How are you calling the Oracle database proc ?

To me it looks like you may be doing a fetch before a SQLExecute. If this does not resolve it, it may help if you posted your Unix script and associated code.
