AS with all print servers (Windows, Linux, D-Link, etc) you need 3 items:

1. A local name (print queue name) on your HP-UX server

2. Remote printer server IP address

3. Remote print server's name for the printer.

#3 must come from the D-Link documentation, or perhaps their website.

Do not use "network printer" in SAM. This is only for HP printer servers. Use "remote printer" and be sure to check that this is a BSD print server. You will need the printer's name as it is stored in the print server.
