      <description>I think this is caused by your network card and your switch being out of whack.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"This problem has been known to occur when&lt;BR /&gt;the switch is incorrectly set to 100 full&lt;BR /&gt;duplex on all interfaces, which causes packets larger than 1500 MTU to be sent to the 100BT HSC interface.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;We recommend that you reset the switch to&lt;BR /&gt;half duplex, which would put it into alignment with network interface cards."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Could you cite the reference for that - from the snippets posted it makes almost no sense to me and I wonder if additional context might help.</description>

      <description>can you sent a ping to your default gateway?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is so create a bigger package sise and see when it failes?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ps is the interface working?&lt;BR /&gt;please give som more info like:&lt;BR /&gt;lanadmin&lt;BR /&gt;  lan&lt;BR /&gt;    ppa ?&lt;BR /&gt;      display&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;to know whitch ppa use lanscan</description>
