      <description>On NIS  client what do you get for&lt;BR /&gt;# ypwhich -m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you see any error/messages in syslog on NIS client?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you using "ypset" or "ypservers" for binding? Same Subnet or separate sunbets?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;NIS master/slave servers are HPUX or Solaris based?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would check for network performance as well.</description>
