Resizing a Volume - VxVM

Hi,

I have one volume to extend in VxVM, but it has a SNAP plex attach to it. so the volume has two plexes - original plex and SNAP plex. i have space available in the disks already used in both plexes.

My question is:

1) Do i still need to remove the SNAP plex and then extend the volume and reattach the SNAP plex again???

OR

2) we can do it as it is, without removing the SNAP, using one vxresize command.

3) If option 2 is ok, then do i need to specify the disks with the vxresize command for both original and SNAP plex ??

Shalom,

This works:

/etc/vx/bin/vxresize -g ${BOOTDG} ${optvolname} +1024m

I break the mirror first so I have a back out plan in case of a screw up.
