Hi,

You can increase the timeout interval or see if it possible to do a hard mount, rather than and soft mount.

Take a look at this thread from hp doc site,

http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1154/ch02s05.html

Hope this helps.

regds
Hi,

I see similar NFS errors in the patch database.
Do you have latest ONC/NFS patch applied for the HP-UX OS version?
Hi,

A few questions:

1. What do you mean your server is using AutoFS? AutoFS is a client-side program. It has nothing to do with the NFS server.

2. What OS/patch level are the NFS clients and servers running?

3. When do these errors show up? All the time? Random times? Is it reproducible?

4. Do you see these errors on all clients, one client, a subset of clients?

Regards,

Dave
