Frank,

Did you have any errors in your swinstall.log? This might point to wich patch is your problem child.

Also run the command:

swlist -l fileset -a state

To see if any patches are not configured.

Hi

For a new ORACLE installation (8.1.7) I had to install some patches (batch bundle 9905, ...). Now I have to change kernel parameters with SAM and here I get the following error messages:

===============
A SAM internal error has occurred. Additional information regarding
this error has been logged to the SAM log file (/var/sam/log/samlog).
Contact your HP representative and provide them with the contents of
the log file so that an appropriate resolution to this problem can be
found.

===============
UNEXPECTED EXIT: process LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p
S 2803 -s kc_sa_param /usr/sam/lib//kc.ui exited with a non-zero exit
S status.

===============
(attachment ==> samlog)

Before the patch installation I didn't had this problems

Thanks for any help
Fran
