So, you have Samba setup as a PDC? or SERVER=USER?

Please post your smb.conf.

You might be able to try adding this to the shares:

username = user1, user2, etc, @windowsgroup

Best option is to have the Samba server join your NT domain...

Rgds...Geoff

hi all

we are mapping unix shares as a PDC to windows pcs using user level access. we noticed that since the users are signing in to a domain first they get a "rejected error" when the pc reboots. is there any any way around this, i really dont want to join the domain

thx in advance
