      <description>Post output from following.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvdisplay -v /dev/rdsk/c29t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgdisplay -v /dev/vg00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fnH 1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange -a y /dev/vg00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(BTW,  this is one reason to keep /dev/vg00 simple, e.g. very few disks only enough to support OS)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Tim,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;attached de output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I saw now strange things  "NO_HW" for de new disks ?!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;some other info:&lt;BR /&gt;I'm migrating from XP1024 to XP24000&lt;BR /&gt;with mirroring (by pvg group name).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All disks c4/c11 &amp;amp; c8/c16 are old one from XP-A and XP-B&lt;BR /&gt;and disks c25/c29 are new one XP-C&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need min 4 disks for 1 mirror (fact)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just created a 3th mirror on new disks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what I now think is that there was already a 3th mirror but broken due missing disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;output vgcfgrestore -n vg00 -l shows 24 (old) disks and &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Tim,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;NO_HW in "ioscan -fnH 1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0"&lt;BR /&gt;is odd.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;one part of that output is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;target  208  1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15    tgt      NO_HW       DEVICE&lt;BR /&gt;disk    412  1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15.0  sdisk    NO_HW       DEVICE       HP      DISK-SUBSYSTEM&lt;BR /&gt;                           /dev/dsk/c29t15d0   /dev/rdsk/c29t15d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but when I do "ioscan -fn | grep 1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15" I got CLAIMED.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ioscan -fn | grep 1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15&lt;BR /&gt;target    208  1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15       tgt       CLAIMED     DEVICE&lt;BR /&gt;disk      412  1/0/2/1/0.2.3.0.0.15.0     sdisk     CLAIMED     DEVICE       HP      DISK-SUBSYSTEM&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think missing c4t0d6 &amp;amp; c4t8d7 is the problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Paul Ettema.</description>
