      <description>Dear All&lt;BR /&gt;Accidently VXVM disk is formatted with pvcreate -f command and i knew after next boot the disk will be in error, is there any way to recover before restart.&lt;BR /&gt;Pls advice ASAP</description>

      <description>I am not sure why have you opened a new thread for the same problem,&lt;BR /&gt;I did restore the header yesterday (although in SUN) successfully.&lt;BR /&gt;Do you have sm directory&lt;BR /&gt;ls -lrt /etc/vx/cbr/bk/&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is VxVM version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BR,&lt;BR /&gt;Kapil+</description>

      <description>And yes don play around with vxvm untill you are very sure of what you doing.&lt;BR /&gt;and DO NOT RUN&lt;BR /&gt;#vxdctl enable command else you would get IO error on your volume and everything would be gone.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As suggested earlier stop application (only apps) take full backup create dg again and restore.&lt;BR /&gt;Else follow the procedure given earlier (its just 30mnt task)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BR,&lt;BR /&gt;Kapil+</description>
