pvmove and mirror-ux

We've been testing with pvmove and have some present working knowledge of using mirror-ux. We do have a question which I do not see any mention of in the manpages...

Is it possible to kick off multiple "pvmove" or "lvextend" processes, or is the LVM locking going to prevent us from doing that?

Unfortunately we're on 11.23 here at the moment. (All the more reason to go to 11iv3)
