      <title>ftp problem from xp</title>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have 2xrp3440 (hp-ux) severs. I can not do ftp from my laptop today. Before configuring cluster yesterday, I could do ftp. I can do ftp from one server to another server. I dont have any firewall. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;ftp ip_address&lt;BR /&gt;connected ip_address //it waits waits...&lt;BR /&gt;connection disconnected by remote host.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can any1 help?</description>

      <description>check ur /etc/inetd.conf for following line,&lt;BR /&gt;ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/ftpd ftpd -l&lt;BR /&gt;If this line does not exist, or is commented out (preceded by a pound sign,&lt;BR /&gt;(#) add it (or remove the pound sign) and restart inetd:&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/inetd -c&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also check ur /etc/ftpusers file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Awadhesh&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
