HI Anit,

You can try third ftp applications which are shareware. There are some applications which allows to schedule copy files (ftp files) from PC to server. Try cuteftp or bullet ftp ...

Cheers !!!
eknath

With ftp, you need to have enough disk space to hold the entire Windows directory on your HP-UX system, and use an ftp program that will transfer subdirectories. To truly mount or share a Windows directory (folder) on HP-UX, you have to download and install SAMBA (aka, CIFS) and configure it to import the shared directory. This isn't all that simple so you might consider backup software that can handle HP-UX and Windows at the same time. HP's Data Protector will do this along with several other products. A client program is installed on each box that needs a backup and a tape server program is installed on the HP-UX system.

Hi Anit Jha,

I think you must buy such as Legato Networker software to backup multiplatform file system, so you can backup unix, windows, linux, etc from your Unix Server.
