Hi ALL,

When I run the following command:

# lanadmin -s 0

The command sends the following output:

Speed = 1000000000

This means that my interface lan0 is set to 1000Mbits?

Sorry for my poor knowlegde in HP-UX environments :)

Thanks and regards,

Rodrigo Nascimento

That is correct.

-s means "Display the current link speed setting of the
interface corresponding to PPA."

Rgds...Geoff

Yes, that's a gigabit NIC.

Pete

Actually, it's a lot easier to read if you use "lanadmin -x 0".

Pete

It's a Gigabit NIC. You can go SAM and find out the speed as well.

-Arun

Hi Rodrigo,

Speed= 1000000000 Means 1000MBps = 1GB NIC.

You can also check with :

# ioscan -fnC lan

# lanscan -x 0

Also ,

# echo "selclass qualifier LAN;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm

Enjoy ,
Cheers,
Raj.
