      <description>&lt;P&gt;First, halt any packages running on the node you want to disable. Either restart those packages on other node(s), or leave them halted, whichever is more appropriate to you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, run "cmhaltnode" on the node you want to disable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then edit the /etc/rc.config.d/cmcluster file: it contains a variable named&amp;nbsp; AUTOSTART_CMCLD that determines whether or not the node will attempt to rejoin the cluster at boot time. Change it to AUTOSTART_CMCLD=0 for the duration of the upgrade.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
