hi

would like to restrict access for a particular user to specific file/folder only. s/he should be able to write/ftp into it only, not remove it.

Hi,

It can be implemented by defining ftpaccess config file and mentioning all the permissions in the file. Man ftpaccess for details.

/usr/newconfig/etc/ftpd/examples/ftpaccess is the sample config file.
