      <title>lvextend error</title>

      <description>when doing a a Hard Mirror and at lvol6 i had a problem .&lt;BR /&gt;#lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol6 /dev/dsk/c1t5d0 /dev/dsk/c1t6d0&lt;BR /&gt;the newly allocated mirrors are now bing synhronized. This operation will take some time . please wait&lt;BR /&gt;and after that this error message appeared&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lvextend : Couldn't re-synchronize stale partitons of the logical volume : I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;lvextend :Couldn't resynchronize logical volume "/dev/vgoo/lvol6".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what this message means and what the solution&lt;BR /&gt;thanls alot&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt; You need  how many no:of copies?( -m 1 or 2 ?)&lt;BR /&gt;#vgdisplay -v vg00 | grep -i stale&lt;BR /&gt;check for stale PEs.&lt;BR /&gt;Also  #vgdisplay -v vg00 &lt;BR /&gt;Check that the hard disks are 'available'.</description>
