      <description>a very, very good 700/915, after a lot of years working fine, is dead!&lt;BR /&gt;A b2000 hp-ux 11.0 was her nfs client.&lt;BR /&gt;I'm not able to umonunt on the b2000 the nfs file system, it happens busy. &lt;BR /&gt;Fuser d'nt works. rm -R, rmdir also.If i try an ll the message is: "NFS server hp9 is not responding still trying".&lt;BR /&gt; If i edit  /etc/mnttab someone rewrite the reference to the expired file system.&lt;BR /&gt;How to resolve this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;Grazie</description>

      <description>The only way to fix this is to reboot the b2000.  NFS just won't let go of the mount otherwise.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Hi Grazie&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Do not edit the /etc/mnttab that is for the OS to keep track of the mounts.&lt;BR /&gt;2. The file is /etc/fstab&lt;BR /&gt;3. If you are getting really desperate ... look at /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf. If you change the lines&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_CLIENT=1&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_SERVER=1&lt;BR /&gt;to&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_CLIENT=0&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_SERVER=0&lt;BR /&gt;nfs will not function on reboot. You might need this if you have some automounting going on.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Reboot will clear it.</description>
