    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX 11i is really a family name - the latest version generally available is 11iv2 (which "uname -a" would display as 11.23) &lt;BR /&gt;Additionally, HP-UX 11i is shipped in 'Operating Environments' (OE)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To see what 'variants' are available got to:&lt;BR /&gt; - &lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/go/hpux" target="_blank"&gt;www.hp.com/go/hpux&lt;/A&gt;  &amp;lt;--- hpux 11i 'home page'   - OR - &lt;BR /&gt; - &lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/operating/choice/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/operating/choice/index.html&lt;/A&gt;  &amp;lt;--- general info on OE&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As already mentioned, the hp-supported version of the Open Source ssh is  HP-UX Secure Shell A.03.91 (based on OpenSSH 3.9p1.) and is available for free download from &lt;A href="http://www.software.hp.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.software.hp.com&lt;/A&gt;  (&lt;A href="http://www.software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA)" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA)&lt;/A&gt; where you can also access the Install Notes, Release Notes and FAQ&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are unsure of what you are doing (you are dealing with a security-type product...) then perhaps you need to give your local HP office a call to arrange for (purchase) some consultancy time?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Nick&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;** PS: Please reward the contributions of forum members (who have spent time answering your queries) by assigning points....       <description>My server is an HP9000 rp 4440 an run on HPUX 11. I would like to download ssh server (and client if possible) to install on my server, and permit all the 300 client of our company local network to access the server via ssh.&lt;BR /&gt;The problem is that I don't know the URL where I could download ssh adapt to my system.</description>

I just want to add that if you can't find software at hp's software site, don't forget to look at the HPUX porting archive.  Search Google for "HPUX Porting Archive", choose the one for the location nearest you.</description>

      <description>thank u for the link; I get the ssh, but my problem now is that i don't know exactly my OS version; the only think i know is that it's HPUX 11i;&lt;BR /&gt;can anyone help me read;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I type the command &lt;BR /&gt;#&amp;gt;uname -a &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and i get the following thing&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX gescom2 B.11.11 U 9000/800 3617757005 unlimited-user license  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please help me read my OS version;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
