My nsswitch.conf - hosts entry is<BR /><BR />hosts: files dns<BR /><BR />I use dns for some other reason. But i don't want sendmail to look in to dns. Though I have created service.switch file to look into files only, sendmail looks this nsswitch entry also. sendmail works only if i remove dns from nsswitch.conf.
