    <description>Looked im the /usr/newconfig directory and didn't see anything, Ran /etc/set_parms initial and assigned IP 192.168.1.2  I remember seeing 127.0.0.1 in IP Addreses as Local Host &amp;amp; 192.168.0.1 as HP9000 host. &lt;BR /&gt;netstat -rn reads:&lt;BR /&gt;127.0.0.1*127.0.0.1*UH*0*66*lo0*4608&lt;BR /&gt;192.168.1.2*127.0.0.1*UH*2*25*lo0*4608&lt;BR /&gt;192.168.1*192.168.1.2*U*0*0*lan0*1500&lt;BR /&gt;played around with different IP addresses and sometimes my other 4 computers can't get on the internet.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I have an old E25 E9000/806 server running B10.01 HP-UX, trying to setup on exisiting workgroup network. Destroyed the config trying to learn unix. It did work before I moved it.</description>

      <description>If you can login, just run the script:  &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;/etc/set_parms initial&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;If you've made a mess of some config files, there are original copies located in the /usr/newconfig directory.</description>

      <description>there are 2 ways&lt;BR /&gt;1. using sam&lt;BR /&gt;#sam-&amp;gt;Network and Communication-&amp;gt;Network Interface Card. Chose card number and chose Action menu.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Use set_parms&lt;BR /&gt;#set_parms&lt;BR /&gt;hostname&lt;BR /&gt;timezone&lt;BR /&gt;date_time&lt;BR /&gt;root_passwd&lt;BR /&gt;ip_address&lt;BR /&gt;addl_netwr&lt;BR /&gt;If you want to set IP choose&lt;BR /&gt;#set_parms ip_address&lt;BR /&gt;If you want to set network parameter, choose &lt;BR /&gt;#set_parms addl_network&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;tienna</description>
