I am getting the following types of messages in syslog and I would like to know what they mean and why I am getting them.

1. Jan 6 11:35:10 zeus named[948]: unapproved update from [172.25.33.215].3001 for
LAN.ROCKCO

25.172.in-addr.arpa

2. Jan 6 11:26:35 zeus named[948]: Lame server on 'www.microsft.com' (in 'microsft

Somebody fatfingered microsoft.com and the DNS for .com came back and said there is no such animal.

This is DNS server, ins't it?
this server use 172.25.33.215 and other server as master. but not trust. so those server reject your request.
check DNS config again.
