      <description>Not sure what you are asking. Do you want to remove all newline marks, ie, run the text together?  If so, here is an easier way than using ed (or sed or awk, etc):&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;echo $(&lt;FILE_NAME&gt;&lt;/FILE_NAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(or easier to understand but makes unnecessary use of cat): echo $(cat file_name)</description>
