topic vgdisplay errors in Operating System - HP-UX

I have an issue where in my rc.log shows that vgdisplay: Volume group "/dev/rfsvg" does not exist in the "/etc/lvmtab" file.<BR />vgdisplay: Cannot display volume group "/dev/rfsvg". This is constantly scanning and building my log file greatly. I have tried vgscans, and recreating the /dev/rfsvg path. They do not exist anymore, was on an older array that was removed, but for some reason that one group is being persistent. What is the best way to remove it. I don't have any where I can add anymore lv's.

I had an epiphany of sorts, I forgot I could temporarily add some disks from my storage system, so did that made the vg and then vgexported it. Thanks to all for your help.
