Thanks Frank,

I'd thought about that as well, but a check on the current backup scehma does not (unfortunately) include the winnt directory. Only the data files. I know...I know....

Thanks again.

Need help. We run an HP 8100n printer and use JetAdmin running off an NT4 server. It has been running well for a year, but now, when I look in the system32\spool\drivers\w32x86 folder of the server, a new folder called "2" has been created with duplicate driver files within. Not to mention everytime we print from a client pc, the event viewer shows 3 of these driver files being "updated" to the client pc every time. At this rate, the event viewer will flood over. Does anybody know of a method to prevent this updateing? I've deleted the existing driver files from both the "2" and the parent folder on the server, reloaded the original drivers, but the "2" folder gets recreated with the newer driver files and we're back to square 1. Any help out there?

Thanks,

Ken

Hi,

Note:

If you have a backup, you can replace theses files and remake configuration with jetadmin.

Frank
