Hi,

Execute on the target machine the following command:
ndd -set /sev/ip ip_send_source_quench 0

and, if this helps, add to /etc/rc.config.d/nddconf file following strings:

TRANSPORT_NAME[0]=ip
NDD_NAME[0]=ip_send_source_quench
NDD_VALUE[0]=0

HTH

Hi,
I am unable login to the HP-UX box using telnet, checked for the reach ability of the server, the server is up and running but the ping o/p shows,
"Reply from 3.244.12.11: Source quench received".
and 0% packet loss, i guess it is because of the network saturation. It would be great a help if someone can make it to find out the root cause to overcome the problem.

Thanks in advance
Shakeer

What about access via lan- or web-console ? Additionally you can log in on a computer in the same subnet and to try to log in or telnet from it.

Good luck

With the console connected, switch it off, switch it on, whilst doing so, hold down the 'd' key.

Also CTRL B will bring you back to the GSP.
Make sure you are at the console and not the GSP.

What is the model of the server ?
if you r not able to see anything in the console ...then check GSP by pressing Control+B and check the logs..

Console might got hanged ... ask local person over there to reset the console..

if you don't have GSP or u can't find anything ... get somebody over there and find the status of the LEDS or any message on the LCD display( only few models has LCD displays).

nothing seems to work give RS on the console prompt this will do a hard reset ... before doing this make sure u have all backups in tact with you.
