I have HP-UX B.11.00

Also, what NIC can I use for this? Is there any Intel EtherExpress 100B drivers? Where can I find a list of drivers for NICs that will work for HP-UX?

Hi,
Before you install the new NIC, you can run
lanscan(1) command.
I expect you to see lan0 is current configured for hostname. You can run
# ifconfig lan0
to verify.
Then you install new NIC, add driver if not already configured. After system rebooted, you can run lanscan(1) again. This time, you should see new NIC (likely to be lan1) recongnized by the system.

At this point, you can use ifconfig(1) to configure lan1 manually. Or, you can edit /etc/rc.config.d/netconf to config lan1 permanently.
Hope this helps.
JW
This is a PCI bus workstation and I am assuming you are using hpux 10.20. with 3com, your chances of finding hpux drivers are pretty slip. You need to look into buying an HP brand PCI NIC. I am not exactly sure which model fits to this b2000 workstation, but if you call hp sales, they can direct you to the right one.
