Would I just put it in the netconf? 900:1?? I don't see the option in SAM in either network devices or APA.

Hi Aron,

I am not sure about what you need but in order to create an APA interface you need to add several files.

1. /etc/rc.config.d/netconf ( lan900 string)
2. /etc/rc.config.d/hpbtlanconf ( specify all ports with the same speed and add the APA interface in that speed)
3. /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf ( define APA interface)
4. /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf ( define ports apainterface)

/sbin/init.d/hpapa start

check the manual at dosc.hp.com

Gideon

I already have an Aggregate with an IP. I would just like to add another IP to that aggregate. Sorry if I was not clear.

yes, I believe you would follow the ":N" construct just as you would for any other interface. that construct is more or less transparant to the driver/apa and doesn't really leave the networking (IP) code.
