Hi All,

We are facing the error message for accept function on HP L class running 11.00 OS version:

--> Mar 5 23:45:31 smschp1 inetd[1168]: ftp/tcp: accept: No buffer space available

I read some information regarding the TCP tunable parameter called "tcp_conn_request_max". The description for that:

tcp_conn_request_max:
Maximum number of outstanding inbound connection requests.
[1, - ] Default: 20 connections

Actually the value is "20". There are only one host that connects into the HP via ftp to get files few times a day.
Could anyone help me how could a fix the issue? The mentioned parameter has anything related to the behavior?

Any help are welcome!
