    <description>Dear all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If i have one HP UNix server rp8400 which has 8 cpu and 4 Harddisk and 16 GB RAM and i partioned this server into two equal size two nodes node1 and node2 (hardware partioning) npar and i want to make cluster in a box without cluster lock and it failed if i make the two partion unequal of size can it succeedd without cluser lock?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you all</description>

      <description>No&lt;BR /&gt;If you wee to read the manual Managing MC/ServiceGuard, you would see you MUST have a cluster lock of some type to create this cluster and use it.&lt;BR /&gt;You must either use a shared disc for the cluster lock, or use the Quorum Server software and set up a quorum server somewhere outside of the cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;Also, please try to put your questions into the relevant sub-sections in the forum, such as ServiceGuard, LVM etc.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
