I am trying to setup a modem for dialin access. Can get working correctly using a Baud rate of 19200, Data bits of 7, Parity of Even and Stop bits of 1.
I need to get working using Data bits of 8 and Parity of None. Have modified the /etc/gettydefs file changing CS7 to CS8 and removing PARENB. Connect's fine, but shows rublish onscreen.

Can someone please give me the correct settings?

Many Thanks,

Darren

The only other thing I could think of would be the modem settings itself.
