I would be really grateful if someone can blow the cobwebs from their old manuals and tell me what drivers/application is required to support A3495A under HPUX 9.04 - it's a 10/100BT hp-pb lan card

I would think it would be the same btlan driver that it is in current versions.

This card was not supported on anything less than 10.20, to my knowledge, so there will not be any drivers for the card.

Hi,

Wow!!! 9.04 is not even Y2K compatible.

You wont get any official support for 9.x or 10.x any more.

From what I can find, the (A3495A) HP-PB 100Base-TX/9000 Series 800 runs on HP-UX 10.20 and later. Support was added for HP-UX 10.10 with patch PHKL_7570.

Looks like you may be out of luck :-(

But give it a try anyway.

Many thanks for replies so far - will assign points shortly, looking at my problem from another angle, what CAT 5 based card will work for 9.04 on G30

I don't believe there was anything for 100Baset at 9.04, even the 100VGAnyLan was 10.01 and above.
I suggest you look at upgrading hte OS to 11.00, as this will allow you to use the A3495A card, and still have a supported OS version.
