I installed SureStore 718 DLT autoloader on a B2000 workstation. The device is claimed when looking in ioscan but there aren't any device files. Stape drive is loaded. Are there specific drivers that I need to load for the device files to be created?

if you can't see the special file, you can run insf -e and then with ioscan -fnCtapa you can see it

Run ..

# insf -e

..to recreate missing device files and then ioscan it again, you should be able to see it then.

#insf -e

Same solution that Domenico Vizzoca, S.K. Chan and Pap...

Run insf -e to crate all missing device file.

Hi Rebecca

This can also be tried . Just do a insf w/o a -e option and it will install files for the devices which are new and not go through the whole installation.
