The simplest way (as long as you have your DNS set up correctly) is to add the hostname of your exchange server in the /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file where is states

DS

to be
DSmyexch_server_name

Save the file and restart sendmail
# /sbin/init.d/sendmail stop
# /sbin/init.d/sendmail start

Regards
Michael
"When I have trouble spelling, it's called fat finger syndrome."

In your /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

file

Make sure that you have these entries.

1.
DS<SMTP_SERVERNAME.></SMTP_SERVERNAME.>eg.
DSpsldns
(psldns is my smtp server name)

2.add the domain name to Dj$w

Dj$w.hp.com

Make sure that you could do a nslookup of your smtp server

#nslookup <SMTP servername="">

If this is not working check whether the smtp server name is there on the DNS server for to resolve.
or check whether it is there in your hosts file.

Restart sendmail.
/sbin/init.d/sendmail stop & start.

Post your results

Thanks
</SMTP>
