topic ftp and proxy in Operating System - HP-UX

ftp and proxy

Hi everyone,
I have some hp-ux 11.0 and 11.i, and a proxy microsoft.
I have to configure ftp on hp-ux systems to work through the proxy, using ftp command line.
I must configure ftpaccess, or something about ftpd daemon or use another tool?

You need to enable socks proxy on the hpux machine which can point to the proxy on the windows server.

check this source for the socks proxy

of you need to use proxy you shold think to use ncftp.
