    <description>If connected to a Cisco switch you might want to turn off auto negotiation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If can cause conflicts and problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have the Cisco admin hard code the switch port for the cards maximum settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot your system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lanadmin -x 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the setting don't match card max, hard code the setting in this file:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/rc.config.d/hpbtlanconf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What type of system do you have?  What version of HP-UX are you running?  Can you post the output of 'lanscan'?  You might have a built-in LAN card that doesn't support 100 Mb.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JP&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>A nic/network card can only support what it was built for.  So you can't use a command to make a 10mb card into a 100mb.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But, you can purchase a new interface card.       <description>I would guess that this is a buil-in internal 10 BT lan card on a D370.  As stated, it will only do 10 BT.</description>

      <description>Also, your "lanadmin" syntax is wrong.  "lanadmin -x" doesn't SET lan card settings, it SHOWS lan card settings.  "lanadmin -X " sets card settings.</description>
