i ddi use xstm -x to find out ..after selected the lan card ..but it didn't give me the level of BIOS or ROm...did i miss something?

You've got another thread on this.

If this is HP-UX, there really isn't a BIOS or ROM for the card that I know of. I haven't ever seen a firmware update for NIC cards.

What EXACTLY do your network guys need? This information should be fairly irrelevant for them.

What exactly are you looking for that xstm doesn't give you?
