Hi

This will occur if you have no CD in the drive.

Is the CD inthe cdrom ?
Is /cdrom an existing mount point ?

/cdrom is exiting ,but no cd in cdrom :)

Hi

It if failing because it cannot find a viable file system.

Put a CD into the drive and then try your mount command.

When you mount a CD - that is exactly what you are doing, your are not mounting the CD Rom Drive but a file system - the CD.
