What is the correct subnet mask?

A 255.255.255.16
B 255.255.255.0
C 255.255.0.0
D 255.0.0.0
E 255.240.0.0

B.) 255.255.255.0 which is default class c subnet mask, whenever you want to do subnetting , always check for the number hosts that u want to keep in one subnet .
