Hi all,

I'm in some need of advice.
Details:
System - A500
OS - 11.0
########################
We moved a PCI NIC from 0/4/0 to 0/6/0 and it was present when we used to an ioscan.... but now its disapeared.

The response center via telephone had us uninstall & reinstall product A5230A for the NIC.

Any ideas what is the cause of this.

TIA

Regards,
Tony Escujuri

Hi Tony,

If the driver is missing, then you should atleast see it in your ioscan in UNCLAIMED status which is not the case. I am not seeing anything in this path.

For me it looks like the NIC might have gone bad while swapping or it is not sitting properly in the slot. Reseat or replace it with a new one.

-Sri
