Hello,

we have Netscape Enterprise 3.01 server running our intranet on an HP11i server. When a user (on NT or Win 2000 work station) downloading a document (text or exell) they encounter this error message:
Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

The users have no problem viewing the document - only when they want to download. Any help is appreciate.

Not that it is of much help but isn't that a rather old version of the webserver?

Does the specific files has execute permissions for the NEtscape server user? (+x)
