Printing with a decserver 900

Hi,
i'm beginning with HP-UX. I used before OpenVMS abd have two questions :

How can i print to a line printer behind a descserver 900 from an HP-UX server 11.11 ?

How can i replace the print/form functionnality from VMS ?

Hi,

I am assuming decserver to an Digital Alpha server. You can de-configure the printer using 'sysman' tool and configure the same printer to a HP server running 11i using SAM
(sam-->printer and plotters --> print server config -->create)

Thank Ravi,

but when i try SAM it speaks about hostname and display number from 1 to 6. It seems not to be the right direction.
I have an Ip address and a port number and that's all.

SAM must dispaly all action components, otherwise the SAM is not installed properly,
check document id: rcfaxsam001

I have some problem with ITRC, i am trying to find the link for this Document but failing.
(same has been addressed to Dan already)
In the Forum page, choose the search option and in the space enter 'Steps to Reinstall SAM' and then search, you get the document

I tried another method (ddfa) i found in this forum.

all seems good, i can print file by cat > /dev/telnet/.

i have define a printer (lpadmin -p -v/dev/telnet/ -mrmodel)

when i print via lp -d , lpstat -t tells me that "error 1 return" and on the listing i have :
unknown host
printer "" now disabled.

whats wrong ?
