Hi All,

We have Windows 2000 AD box, with SFU installed. The box is running NIS services.

On the HP-UX box I have configured it as a NIS client. when I do

# ypcat passwd

I does reply back with all the user and group information. Then when I try to do su to NIS user from root, it works fine but when I try to login as any NIS user directly, it says authentication failed.

I don't know what am I doing wrong here.

Thanks for your help.

Ajay
